ROSINE, Ky. — Richard “Richie” Raley, 70, of Rosine, went to sleep on Saturday at his home and woke up in heaven with his family. He was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Ellis Raley and Pauline McCoy Raley.
Richie retired from Nestaway.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lana Edmonds and Robbie Basham.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory two children, Kevin (Shannon) Raley, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Angela Duncan Raley, of Hartford, Kentucky; three stepchildren, Paul Greathouse, Pam McDowell, and Cody Bilbro; six grandchildren, Andrew Raley, Kelsey Raley, Jessica Hall, Robert (Jordan) Duncan, Chris (Erica) Duncan, and Andrea Duncan (Jeremy Cook); 10 great-grandchildren; and his two beloved dogs, Tiny and Skippy.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine. Friends may visit with Richie’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
