CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Judy Kaye McAdams, 68, of Centertown, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 9, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Harley McAdams and Eveline Smith McAdams.
Judy retired from Professional Care Nursing & Rehab in Hartford, Kentucky, as a CNA and was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, reading, and listening to gospel music but most of all she loved being a Mother, Mamaw, and Great-Mamaw.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Daymon McAdams, Tony McAdams, Joe McAdams and Randall Smith; brother-in-law, Larry Johnson; and sister-in-law, Sherry McAdams.
She leaves behind to treasure her memories, two daughters, Tracy (Gary) Hill and Angie (Brad) Funk, both of Centertown; eight grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Trey Smith, Eric Smith, Adelyn Smith, August Hill, Mason Funk, Olivia Funk, and Audrey Funk; three great-grandchildren, Charli Kate, Tripp, and Amelia; four siblings, Wendy Drake, Harlan McAdams, Barbara McAdams, and Norma Jean Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Joan Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 14, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Glendon Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Oller Cemetery in Grayson County. Friends may visit with Judy’s family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
