
Connie was a farmer and retired from Young Manufacturing after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed hunting and riding around the farm on his 4-wheeler with his Jack Russell, Ollie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Vera Joan Daugherty Milam; son, Danny Milam; and siblings, Donny Milam, Sylvia Leisure, Velma Allen, Opal Leisure.
Connie is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gayle Hartis Milam, of Baizetown, Ky.; son, Denny Milam (Michelle), of Baizetown; grandchildren, Felisha Taylor, of Cromwell, Kentucky, Denny Milam Jr., of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Tiffany Milam, of Caneyville, Kentucky; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Akin, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Pat Scott, of Rockport, Kentucky; four stepchildren, Paula Butts (Tim), of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Penni Lee (Keith), of Morgantown, Rebecca Connelly (David), of El Paso, Texas, and David Carroll (Krista), of South Dakota; step-grandchildren, Mallory Combs (Brian), Myranda West (Heath), Jorden Phelps (Brittany), and Dakota Phelps (Kate), all of Morgantown, Jacob Caroll, Allison Carroll, and Jessica Carroll, all of Nebraska; seven step-great-grandchildren; and his best buddy, Ollie; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, Mar. 4 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar. 3, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
