John William ‘Billy’ Logsdon

OWENSBORO, Ky. — John William “Billy” Logsdon, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. He was born on Feb. 2, 1934, in Rosine, Kentucky, to the late Hiram Christopher Logsdon and Erma Stewart Logsdon.

He was a truck driver.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Marcella Norris, Mercedes Monroe, and Ethel Verna Monroe.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memories, companion of 25 years, Mildred Sims, of Owensboro; one daughter, Linda (Curtis) Howard, of Lewisport, Kentucky; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Madrid Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Breckenridge County with Pastor Kelly Tucker officiating. Full military honors by Ohio County Honor Guard.
