HARTFORD, Ky. — Jimmy Howard, 25, of Hartford, passed away, Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021. He was born June 5, 1996, in Hartford, Kentucky, to Rob Howard and Jennifer (Dowell) Kirk.

Jimmy was a bright star that burned out too quickly; he touched everyone’s life that he came in contact with. Jimmy was a very spiritual individual, and he was strong within his beliefs.

He was a soldier, very patriotic, whose interest varied from riding his Harley, hunting, and fishing. A man with knowledge far greater than his trades, including an expert of firearms and woodworking. Through Jimmy’s connections with online gaming, it was no secret or surprise that he was so loved by all that he encountered all over the world.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Dowell.

Survivors include his father, Rob Howard, of Hartford; mother, Jennifer (Jay) Kirk, of Owensboro, Kentucky; siblings, Kadence (Ryan) Ash, of Owensboro, Clinton Joseph Thomas Howard, of Owensboro, Gabriella Renee Howard, of Hartford, Marcello Nobrega, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, and Genevieve A. Dowell, of Owensboro; paternal grandparents, William Robert and Dinah Rhea Howard, of Hartford; and maternal grandmother, Bonnie (Jack) Casey, of Rockport, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, with Rev. Lawrence Carter officiating. Burial will be in Woodward Valley Church Cemetery near Livermore, Kentucky, with military honors. Friends can visit with Jimmy’s family from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
