BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Douglas Garner, 63, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 21, 1958, to the late Raleigh and Katherine Chinn Garner in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He is a member of Slaty Creek Church in Prentiss and he worked as a machinist.
Aside from his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Garner and Anthony Garner.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Cathy Garner, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; three children, Richard (Diana) Garner of Hartford, Kentucky, Raleigh (Chanda) Garner, of Beaver Dam, and Kat (Lee) Billiter, of Beaver Dam; eight grandchildren, Randy Norris, Dalton Garner, Serenity Garner, Alora Glenn, Gideon Glenn, Allen Billiter, Angel Billiter, and Whitney Billiter; two great-grandchildren, Jayle and Harley Rayne Billiter.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Alton Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in Slaty Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
