HARTFORD, Ky. — Betty J. Reynolds, 82, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, on March 24, 1939, to the late Chaylon and Sally Anne Helm Overby.
She was a member of Hartford Christian Church. She was a very talented seamstress where she would make quilts and dolls. She also played the piano, organ, and accordion.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Smith.
Betty is survived by her husband, James Reynolds; son, Kevin Russell; granddaughter, Victoria (Nicholas Busch) Russell; great-grandchildren Vera Allen, Nora Busch, and Vincent Busch; and sister, Jo (Jim) Kissling.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home with Brother Scott Parker officiating. Burial to follow at New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home and again Tuesday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
