BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ron Anderson Morris Jr., 77, passed away at his residence on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. He was born on Aug. 26, 1944, in Horse Branch, Kentucky, to the late Ron Anderson Morris Sr. and Ethel Emery.
Ron loved to read and tinker around with vehicles and projects. Ron worked as an auto mechanic. He had a sense of humor, loved to talk and never met a stranger.
Ron was proud of his country and loved his family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling and seeing different places. He enjoyed the outdoors and exploring. He was able to live out his dream of being a cowboy when he lived in Arizona before moving back to Kentucky. Ron was an accomplished Leather Crafter who spent many years traveling around the country selling his unique items and clothing.
Aside from his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son; Ron A. Morris III, of Louisville, Kentucky, and one brother, Mike Morris, of Bethel Ridge, Kentucky.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yvonne Morris, of Beaver Dam; one son, Chris Morris, of Louisville; one Daughter, Brandi Morris, of Louisville; sister-in-law; Carolyn Morris, of Bethel Ridge; sister-in-law, Wanda Herold, of Xenia, Ohio; nephews, Mike Mattingly, of Louisville, and Mike Morris, of Xenia; nieces, Marie Dill and Ashley Dill, both of Dayton, Ohio; three grandsons, Christopher Morris, Bryce and Brayden Morris, all of Louisville; and one granddaughter, Sabrina Clemons, of Louisville.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
