HARTFORD, Ky. — The county’s “Pedal Tractor Pulling Contests” were held Saturday, Sept. 18 at the 2021 Ohio County Fair. There were 40 participants, aged 3-12, who participated in the contests. The contests were sponsored by Tyson Sanderfur with Kentucky Farm Bureau, in cooperation with the Ohio County Extension Service.
The young pullers pedaled a tractor, pulling a sled, down a 30 ft. track to find the best at dragging the pulling sled the farthest. The following are the age bracket winners:
Ages 3-4
1st – Cassie Williams; 2nd – Ryker Slinker; 3rd – Henry Denardi
Ages 5-6
1st – Jaxon Huff; 2nd – Arlo Likens; 3rd – Travis Boone
Ages 7-8
1st – Aiden Scott; 2nd – Ryder Blacklock; 3rd – Braylen Baize
Ages 9-10
1st – Eli Tarrance; 2nd – Mason Kessler; 3rd Lily Smith
Ages 11-12
1st – Jackson Beasley; 2nd – Dakota Bell; 3rd Braydon Woods
