BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Roy Willis Dockery, 79, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at his home. He was born on Feb. 4, 1942, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Reason Austin and Vear Lee Alsip Dockery.
Roy was retired from H&W Electric, where he worked as an electrician.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Tinsley.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his siblings, Margaret Tinsley, of Beaver Dam, Dorothy (Phillip) Ford, of Centertown, Kentucky, A.C. (Mae) Dockery, of West Lafayette, Ohio, and Ray (Brenda) Dockery, of Hartford, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Alton Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may visit with Roy’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
