HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Wavy Donald “Duck” Hayse, 74 of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born on June 22, 1947, in Horse Branch to the late Thurman and Delois Kelley Hayse.
Duck was a retired logger.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Stroup, and three brothers, Milton Hayse, Jerry Hayse, and Lewis Hayse.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his wife, Alice Hayse; one sister, Betty Filback (Harry); nieces and nephews, April (Andrew), Jason (Lindsey), Teresa (Matt), Tammy (Jordan), Rosza (Timmy), Thomas (Autumn), William, Vonnie, Cathy, John (Brandy), David (Sandy), and Randall, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Glennie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Horse Branch Cemetery. Friends may visit with his family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
