
Teresa worked as a truck driver for Averitt Express in Owensboro, Kentucky, and she was a member of the Fordsville Eastern Star Chapter #326 O.E.S. and Goel Eastern Star Chapter #104 O.E.S. and Faith Riders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Shields; stepfather, James Michael “Mickey” Wilson; and her father, Jerel Wayne Scoggins.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her children, Spring Shields (Thomas Zulla), of Central City, Kentucky, Justin (Gretchen) Shields, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her mother, Sharon Maddox Wilson, of McHenry, Kentucky; three stepchildren, Megan Shields, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Robbie (Melissa) Shields, of Palmdale, California, and Julie (Bob) Ambry, of Belleville, Illinois; five brothers, Steven Wilson, of McHenry, Jay (Michelle) Scoggins II, of Henderson, Kentucky, Mikey Wilson, of McHenry, Erik Scoggins, of Prattville, Alabama, and Jeremy Scoggins, of Montgomery, Alabama; stepmother, Anita Scoggins, of Prattville, Alabama; five grandchildren, several aunts and uncles; and two fur babies, Lucy and Bella.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Tommy Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Teresa’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral on Sunday. An Eastern Star service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
