Rehab of on/off ramps at WK Parkway, U.S. 231 to begin Monday night

MADISONVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 2, advises motorists of upcoming road work in Ohio County.

A project to rehabilitate the ramps to and from the Western Kentucky Parkway at U.S. 231 – Exit 75, just south of Beaver Dam – will begin Monday, Aug. 2, and continue through Thursday, Aug. 5. This work will include milling out the existing surface and then resurfacing it.

Work will be performed at night, beginning at 6 p.m. CDT each day. The ramps will remain open for traffic, and flaggers will be used for traffic control.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, be prepared for delays, and exercise safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
