BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Rosa Juanita Travis, 88, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born on Sept. 8, 1932, in Belton, Kentucky, to the late Paul and Rosella Mallory Carver.
Juanita was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Travis.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, her children, Brad (Tonya) Travis, of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and Tasha (Robert) Anderson, of White Bluff, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Corey Travis, Kyle (Emily) Travis, Jessika (Dalton Hogue) Anderson, and Josh Anderson; her brother-in-law, Grover Travis; half-brothers, Bruce Carver, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Ronnie Carver, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; half-sister, Paula Hooks, of La Vergne, Tennessee; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at Sunnyside Cemetery with Pastor Doug King officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam was entrusted with the arrangements.
