HARTFORD, Ky. — In celebration of the upcoming 4th of July holiday, Ohio County Healthcare invites the community to an “Independence from COVID-19” cookout.  Join OCH in recognizing all the healthcare heroes who continue the fight to keep our community safe during the ongoing pandemic.

OCH is proud to have provided Outstanding Care Here to thousands of patients by administering COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccination services.

A free lunch will be served at the front of the Ohio County Hospital from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021. The OCH staff will be grilling jumbo hot dogs and slicing up watermelon for a to-go bagged lunch.

Guests can also enjoy a red, white & blue snow-cone and will receive a small American flag.

OCH will also be offering free Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to anyone ages 12 and up. Minors will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Come out, enjoy the fun and celebrate the extra protection offered by being a vaccinated freedom fighter against COVID-19.

If there is inclement weather Friday, watch the OCH Facebook page for cookout status.
