BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Nora Owings, 44, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at her residence. She was born on April 19, 1977, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Janice Renfrow Leisure and the late Calvin L. Leisure, Jr.
Nora formerly worked at TTMA.
She was preceded in death by her son, Hunter Owings; her father, Calvin L. Leisure, Jr.; her brother, Calvin L. Leisure, III; paternal grandparents, Opal and Calvin L. Leisure, Sr., and maternal grandmother, Evelyn Renfrow.
She leaves behind to cherish many memories, one son, Travis Tinsley, of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Chae Owings, of Angleton, Texas; her mother, Janice Leisure, of Beaver Dam; grandfather, Havert Renfrow, of Hartford, Kentucky; and one grandson, Ryan Owings.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Ricky Leisure officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with her family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
