HARTFORD, Ky. — Flonnie Norrene Gibson Hackett, 94, of Hartford, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1926, in Albany, Kentucky, to the late Walker Lee and Mary Alice Asberry Gibson.
She was retired from Beaver Dam Beauty Shop as a hairdresser. Flonnie was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading her Bible and prayed daily. Flonnie enjoyed cooking and tending to flowers.
Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Winburn Bonell Hackett, and her sisters, Thelma Cummings and Christina Wade.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lea Ann Hackett, of Owensboro, Kentucky; her sister, Barbara Russell, of Albany; and many friends that loved her like family.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home with Mike Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial to follow at Sunny Side Cemetery.
All who wish to honor Flonnie at the visitation and funeral are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
