BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Charlotte Phelps, 78, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born in Jetson, Kentucky, on Sept. 11, 1942, to the late Offie V. and Glennie Gary Phelps.
She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Little Bend, Kentucky. She loved cooking, gardening, and being with her family.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Phelps, of Beaver Dam; son, Greg Phelps (Marva), of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughter, Tonya Wilcox, of Morgantown, Kentucky; brother, Gary Phelps (Taunya), of Morgantown; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hines and Bro. Greg Phelps officiating. Private burial, with family only, will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 17 at Smith Funeral Home from noon until time of service.
Everyone must wear a mask and social distancing is required. No outside food or drink may be brought in.
