CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Chaylin Ray Cowles, 24, of Centertown, went to his heavenly home on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1996, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Jeremey Cowles and Ronnie Schroader.
Chaylin was employed by Century Aluminum and attended Legacy Church. He served on the board of the Ohio County Youth Softball League and loved coaching softball. He was a member of Bull Run Beagle Club and enjoyed hunting and running his rabbit dogs, fishing, and loved and adored his family. He had a huge heart for helping anyone struggling with addiction.
Chaylin was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Lucille Spinks, and paternal grandmother, Linda Cowles.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Chelsie Cowles, of Centertown; two daughters, Addison Decker and Marley Cowles and Baby Cowles on the way; mother, Ronnie Schroader, of Hartford, Kentucky; father, Jeremey Cowles, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sister, Elizabeth Michelle (Bob) Givens, of Hartford; brother, Nick (Kassidy) Templeton; in-laws, David and Tonia Cessna, of Beaver Dam; sister-in-law, Alisha Gray, of Alabama; maternal grandparents, Anna and Bob Morrow, of Bowling Green and Billy and Brenda Schroader, of Hartford; paternal grandfather, Ray Cowles, of Bowling Green; aunts, Tracy (Derek) Bailey, of Beaver Dam, Stacy (Ben) Embry, of Centertown, Kelli Cowles, of Bowling Green, and Jeana Moseley, of Hartford; several close cousins and extended family and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Horse Branch General Baptist Church (121 Olaton Road, Horse Branch, KY 42349).
