CROMWELL, Ky. — William Douglas Basham Sr., 70, of Cromwell, passed away Dec. 8, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1950, to the late Rollie Basham and Ann Marie Scott Basham.
Mr. Bash served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Basham, and a grandson, Levi Chase Basham.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, four children, William Douglas Jr. (Tabitha) Basham, of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Christopher (Brittney) Basham, of Cromwell, Brian Basham, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Lori Basham of Frankfort, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren, Jordan (Dylan) Hancock, Logan Basham, Landan Basham, Timothy Basham, Andria Basham, Conner Basham, Brayden Basham, Justin Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Aaron Basham, Ariyana Basham, Aaliyah Banks, and Kaylee Basham; one great-grandson, Wyatt Basham; and two nieces, Jackie Stalbaum, of Lowell, Indiana and Jennifer Poor, of Shelby, Indiana.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements of Mr. Basham.
