HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Lynn Earl Hurt, 61 of Horse Branch, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020, at his home. He was born on Dec. 15, 1958, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Darrell E. and Violet Gezymalla Hurt.
Lynn worked as a heavy equipment operator for Deweese Construction.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his wife of 26 years, Luella Hurt, of Horse Branch; two sons, Jerry Wilson (Mitoo) Hurt, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Michael (Denise) Earle, of New Jersey; two brothers, Jerry Wayne (Bonnie) Hurt, of Horse Cave, Kentucky, and Roger (Diane) Hurt, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; and two stepsons, JJ (Sammie) Stevens, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Jeremy (Beth) Stevens, of Hartford, Kentucky. Lynn was blessed with nine grandchildren, Lynn Robert Hurt, Jerry A. Hurt, Abdul Hurt, Phoenix Earle, Jay Stevens, Monica Lynn Stevens, Serenity Stevens, Seth Stevens and Kelsey Stevens and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with the arrangements.
