BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Joenell Sandefur Renfrow, 88, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at Signature of Hartford, Kentucky. She was born August 7, 1932, in Shererville, Indiana, the daughter of James Louis and Loney Lee Crumes Sandefur.

She was a member of Dover Chapel General Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and attended Horse Branch Christian Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, who took great pride in the care and wellbeing of her home and family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, J.W. Renfrow Sr.; her son, John William Renfrow Jr.; two sisters, Jean and Betty; and two brothers, Bob and Billy.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronnie W. Renfrow (Jackie), of Horse Branch, Kentucky, Kenneth D. Renfrow (Robin), of Horse Branch, and Bryan Lee Renfrow, of Beaver Dam; her daughter, Bonita A. Oldham (James Bruce), of Charlestown, Indiana; and nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28) at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
