HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help with an investigation into a burglary.

According to the OCSO, Sunday, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home near the 12000 block of U.S. 231 N in reference to a burglary. The victim told deputies the suspects were three, possibly Hispanic, men driving a newer model black pickup truck. The suspects told the victim they were looking for work and asked the victim if he would be interested in allowing them to do some exterior work to his home.
The victim said one of the suspects entered his home while another suspect distracted him at the rear of the house. The suspect who entered the home allegedly stole numerous items and money from the back bedroom.
The victim wasn’t aware anyone had entered his home until after the suspects had left the driveway. The victim’s wife told him after the suspects left, that one of them had been in the house.
If you have any information on the three suspects, call the OCSO at 270-298-4411.
