MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Imogene Dockery, 84, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Imogene was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the union of the late Morton and Lilly Alford Snodgrass.

She was a member of Barnett’s Lick Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Kane’s Sewing Factory. Imogene enjoyed quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and children’s father, Joyce Dockery; second husband, Robert Dockery, two sons; Thomas Allen Dockery and Steven Joe Dockery; great-granddaughter, Chloe Henderson; sister, Pearl Phelps; and five brothers; Roy, Lonnie, Stoy, James, and C.J. Snodgrass.

Imogene is survived by four sons, Michael Dockery (Lisa), of Morgantown, Billy Dockery (Rita), of Morgantown, Jackie Dockery, of Morgantown, and Mark Dockery (Janine), of Morgantown; one daughter, Robin Hawes (Ricky), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, 12 grandchildren, Brandie, Kim, Greg, Holly, Cody, Chase, Tiffany, Monica, Tyra, Tessa, Richard, and Regina; 14 great-grandchildren, Mattie, Parker, Zoie, Callie, Dillon, Hannah, Hunter, Bella, Destiny, Caleb, Alex, Jack, Levi, and Carson; two brothers, Willard Snodgrass (Reba), of Louisville, Kentucky, and David Snodgrass (Luzetta), of Beaver Dam; daughter-in-law, Pauline Dockery, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Evans Officiating. Burial will be in the Isaiah Evans Cemetery where Mark, Billy, Greg and Cody Dockery and Richard and Ricky Hawes will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 28, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
