BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Fred Ray Berryhill, 75, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, at 6 a.m. at his home surrounded by his loving family. Fred was born July 15, 1945, to the late Robert Berryhill and the late Sophie Sokolowski Berryhill in Chicago, Illinois.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Vacova Berryhill; sister, Barbara Jean Makowski; son, Fred Berryhill Jr.; and granddaughter, Sophia Ghee Berryhill.

He is survived by his sons, Daniel Berryhill, of North Carolina, and John Fulton, of Wisconsin; daughters, Lisa (Edward) Wilshire, of Kentucky, Donna (Joseph) Trevino, of California, and Susan (Shawn) Mervine, of Michigan; grandchildren, Matthew, Tatum, Skyler, Rachel, Sarah, Lisa, Belle, Joseph, Angelica, Christian, and Monica; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Berryhill, of Florida, and Bo Berryhill, of Wisconsin; and sister, Diane Ohlinger, of Florida.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, with Bro. Jerry Hines officiating. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
