HARTFORD, Ky. — As this week is National Suicide Prevention Week and September 2020 is National Recovery Month, a Suicide Awareness Walk is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at the Ohio County Park. The walk is to remember lost loved ones and to bring awareness to suicide prevention and mental health resources.
The event will feature:
- Free photos with a monster truck, make a donation and take a ride;
- Remembrance walk and memory wall. Bring a photo of a lost loved one;
- Food;
- Door prizes/Raffles/Freebies;
- Horse/dog petting arena;
- Bounce houses;
- Children’s activities, including fire trucks, ambulances, etc;
- Corn hole tournament;
- Event t-shirts.
