OWENSBORO, Ky.  — Kentucky State Police troopers are trying to identify the driver of a vehicle who led them on pursuit around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020.

Troopers said the truck appeared to be a black 2017-2020 Ford F-250, four-door diesel STX or Lariat model with black grill, black wheels and chrome door handles. The truck also appeared to have a low profile toolbox in the bed and may have had a black “Friends of Coal” Kentucky registration tag.

The pursuit was originally initiated on KY 1207 in Daviess County when a trooper observed the above truck traveling southbound at a high rate of speed. The trooper attempted to stop the truck, but the driver failed to comply. The pursuit continued south on KY 81 to Calhoun. The pursuit was ultimately terminated due to inclement weather and heavy traffic. The truck was last seen on KY 815, north of Calhoun in McLean County.
