MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Stacey C. Embry, 56, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Stacey was born Oct. 7, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the union of James and Louie Ann Childress Lucas.
She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and worked in the customer services department at Casco. Stacey loved spending time with her family and friends and especially her granddaughters.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis White; two sons, Joshua and Ronnie White; and one sister, Amber Hicks.
Stacey C. Embry is survived by her husband of seven years, Gary Embry, of Morgantown; three daughters, Jennifer Lynn Bratcher (William), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Natalie Shea Embry, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Charlena Lacefield, of Roundhill, Kentucky; three sons, Jonathan White (Lena West), of Morgantown, Lawson Embry, of Cromwell, Kentucky, and Logan Embry, of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Kathryn Bratcher, of Beaver Dam, Rayna Bratcher, of Beaver Dam, Lorelei White, of Morgantown, Lenze Pharris, of Beaver Dam, Jule and Lela Thomason, of Roundhill; one great-grandchild, Aaron Pharris, of Beaver Dam; three sisters, Ann Fortner (Terry), of Central City, Leslie Sublett (Dee), of Aberdeen, Kerry Baribeau (Jim), of Morgantown; one brother, James Lucas, of Caneyville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Lawson Embry and Bro. Gene Garner officiating. Burial will be held in the New Liberty Church Cemetery where John McKinney, Logan Embry, Jonathan White, Dillon White, BJ White, and Chris Warren will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 7, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Tuesday 10 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
