HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Mary Jo Renfrow, 86, of Horse Branch, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born April 17, 1934, in Brandenburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William and Frances Elizabeth Hardesty Yates.
Mary Jo was a generous and Godly woman who enjoyed watching her cats, Buttons and Bowles, play. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Aside from her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her two sons, Terry and Jimmy Golden.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Renfrow; two special friends, Shirley Renfrow and Donna Frames; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Kentucky with Bro. Glennie Geary officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
All those who wish to honor and remember Mary Jo Renfrow in person at the visitation or service are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
