BEAVER DAM, Ky. — The Beaver Dam Woman’s Club is excited to announce its second Annual Steppin’ Up Shoe & Sock Drive. This year, The BDWC is also accepting pants.
Last year, with assistance from the community, the BDWC helped many local elementary children and the group wants to go even bigger for 2020.
Spread some joy & drop off new shoes, socks, and pants at Ohio County Public Library, Assured Partners Insurance or First United Bank. Items will be distributed to local elementary school children through each school’s Family Resource Center. The BDWC will be collecting donated items now until Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The BDWC will accept new pants in children’s sizes 5-16 and new shoes/socks in children’s size 13-adult size 7. If you’d prefer to make a monetary donation, contact a BDWC member directly.
