FRANKFORT, Ky. — Legislative committee meetings scheduled for Thursday, June 25 will be conducted via videoconference.
The meetings will be held remotely rather than in-person in response to a Kentucky State Police request to reduce the number of public workers on the State Capitol campus to help ensure public safety on a day when a large public gathering is expected on the Capitol grounds.
Committees scheduled to meet Thursday include the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee, the Committee on Health, Welfare, and Family Services, and the Medicaid Oversight and Advisory Committee. Video recordings of the meetings will be posted on YouTube within one or two business days after the meetings at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmnoJBrwFmd7JK0HA9KcPaw.
The Committee on Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection meeting that was originally scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30.
