HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Jo Etta Renfrow Jackson, 78, of Horse Branch, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born June 23, 1941, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Wilmer and Reba Murphy Renfrow.
Jo Etta was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ. She loved Cooking and preparing meals for her family. She was a great Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Frame.
Jo Etta leaves behind to treasure many memories, three children, Kevin Frame, Renee Lindsey, and Tina (Paul) Daugherty, all of Horse Branch; five grandchildren, Sherita (James) Parritt, Alex Kennedy, Michael (Hannah) Kennedy, Sarah Lindsey, and Brian Frame; five great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Oconel (Mary) Renfrow, of Horse Branch, Jerry (Helen) Renfrow, of La Grange, Kentucky, and Mike Renfrow, of Horse Branch.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Sugar Grove Church of Christ (5 Scenic Lane, Horse Branch) with Will Gott officiating. A private burial will be held at Renfrow Cemetery in Horse Branch. Friends may visit with Jo Etta’s family from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Everyone is invited to stay following the service to enjoy desserts and memories of Jo Etta. Due to COVID-19, we understand if you do not wish to attend.
