Hartford offering small businesses COVID-19 Emergency Restart Grant

HARTFORD, Ky. — The shutdown due to coronavirus pandemic has been devastating to small businesses and the city of Hartford is trying to give local businesses help with the restart.

According to Hartford’s Facebook page, it’s offering the COVID-19 Emergency Restart Grant to help lessen the burden of businesses reopening after the shutdown. The grant can only be used for qualifying business expenses and is limited to Hartford businesses intending to reopen. Grant funding will be limited and is on a “first come, first served” basis. As we begin to emerge from mandated closures the City of Hartford recognizes the hurdles many of our local businesses face. Small businesses are essential to the economy and sense of community in Hartford. To foster successful reopening and recovery of our small businesses the City of Hartford is offering the COVID-19 Emergency Restart Grant.”
