CANEYVILLE, Ky. — Dennis M. Schroader, 50, of Caneyville, passed away Monday, (May 18, 2020) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1969, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, the son of Roger and Carol Salings Schroader.
Dennis was a loving Christian man that cared deeply about the Lord. And was very caring and that made sure to instill a love for God in his own children. He was a construction worker, a mechanic, a jack-of-all-trades and a jokester.
He had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that would make anybody laugh. Dennis was a family man and loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart. He was dependable and a hard worker, but also had plenty of time to tell a few jokes and could make anybody laugh. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, fixing anything that was broken, and spending time with his family.
He will be truly missed and anybody who had the pleasure to have known him would consider themselves to be lucky.
He is survived by his three children, Jordan Schroader (Alanna) and Linsey Decker (Chris), both of Leitchfield, and Colin Baize, of Rockfield, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Emma, Dalanie, Rowan, and Hudson; three brothers, Dale Schroader (Tina), David Schroader (Susan), and Daniel Schroader (Patty), all of Horse Branch, Kentucky; and one sister, Renee Fentress (Jack), of Falls of Rough, Kentucky. He is also survived by his fiancée, Brenda Parks, of Caneyville.
Private services will be held.
