BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Larry David Schroader, 72, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at his home. He was born on Dec. 6, 1947, in McHenry, Kentucky, to the late Herman Estil and Nina Loretta Leisure Schroader.
Larry worked as a boilermaker for Local 40, he was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam war.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jewell Schroader and Charlie Schroader, and several infant siblings.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories are two children, John Schroader, of McHenry, and Amy (Jason) Bolin, of Rosine, Kentucky; two siblings, Betty (Darrell) Leach and Brenda Leach, both of Beaver Dam; he was blessed with two grandchildren, Ashlynn Bolin and Cody (Autumn) Schroader; and one great-grandchild, Payton David Schroader.
In lieu of visitation, there will be a drive-through caravan in remembrance on Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Follow the posted signs to direct you to the viewing area. The family requests that you please come as you are and drive through to pay your respects. Due to safety directives, please do not exit your car, but you can roll down your window and show your support to Larry’s family.
