BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Vina Ann Breeden Raymer, 86, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born on July 20, 1933, in White County, Illinois, to the late Sherman and Eva Bryant Breeden.
Vina was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Raymer, and 10 siblings.
She leaves behind to treasure many memories, four children, Ricky (Debbie) Raymer, of Beaver Dam, Michael (Charla) Raymer, of Beaver Dam, Debra (Joe) Birt, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Pamela Blankenship, of Beaver Dam. Vina was blessed with nine grandchildren, Chanda (Matt) Hansen, Wade (Jacqueline) Raymer, Emily (Randy) Shown, Evan (Jessica) Raymer, Hannah Raymer, Eddie Lee Gillim, Billy Gillim, Rex (Julia) Gillim and Megan (Justin) Oliver, and 14 great-grandchildren, Carlie Ann, Emma and Max Hansen, Addyson and Treyson Raymer, Parker and Scarlett Gillim, Kasen and Karter Shown, Atticus Raymer, Chloe and Oliver Gillim, and Miley and Paxton Oliver.
In lieu of visitation, there will be a drive-through caravan in remembrance on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Follow the posted signs to direct you to the viewing area. The family requests that you please come as you are and drive through to pay your respects. Due to safety directives, please do not exit your car, but you may roll down your window and show your support to Mrs. Raymer’s family. Mike Thomas will officiate.
