HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County Healthcare confirmed the earlier report by the Green River District Health Department stating Ohio County had 15 new confirmed COVID-19 patients bringing the county’s total cases to 58.
Since yesterday, OCH has been busy as it tested 111 patients and are awaiting the results of 100 tests. OCH has tested a total of 510 patients for COVID-19.

OCH follows the following criteria for testing:
- Patients with cough, fever and shortness of breath
- Healthcare workers who have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 patient
- Employees from work environments with known COVID-19 activity who need to be tested in order to return to work
