OCH awaiting results of 110 COVID-19 tests

HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County saw no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today and remains at 40 total confirmed cases, however, that number could change in the near future.

Ohio County Healthcare has tested 338 total patients for COVID-19. Of those, 81 patients were screened over the weekend with 65 patients being tested. OCH is currently waiting on the results of 110 tests.

According to OCH, Ohio County is still seeing new infections of COVID-19. Social distancing measures of staying home except for essential services, avoiding crowds, washing hands and wearing a cloth face mask in public are still vitality important.

OCH has begun a gradual resuming of non-emergent outpatient services including radiology, laboratory and rehab services. Careful scheduling, registration and waiting area plans are in place to maintain social distancing measures. The safety of patients and staff will remain the top priority.
