OLATON, Ky. — Inez Johnson Hines, 91, passed away April 24, 2020, at her home. She was born in Butler County, Kentucky, on April 25, 1928, daughter of the late Dave and Anna Pearl Lamar Johnson.
Inez was a member of Concord Baptist Church and retired from G.E. in Owensboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gobel Hines, in 1994.
Survivors include her son, Gregory Thomas Hines (Denise); daughter, Shirley Ann Hines Lee; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, private funeral services will be held at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky.
Contributions in honor of Mrs. Hines can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
