HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County Healthcare has confirmed today’s earlier report from Green River District Health Department that Ohio County has 9 new confirmed COVID-19 cases bringing the county total to 35.
According to its Facebook page, OCH has tested a total of 265 patients with 67 results pending. A total of 45 patients were screened yesterday between the Hartford, Fordsville and Butler County Centers. Visit the COVID-19 resources at OCHcares.com for location, hours and contact information for all three screening centers. The Hartford location will be open both Saturday and Sunday.
Also included in today’s update, OCH wanted to clarify an inaccuracy from Thursday’s Channel 14 WFIE News story. It was stated OCH tested upwards of 60 plus Perdue employees. While OCH has seen an increase in screening and testing in all of its locations, it has not been concentrated to just one work environment.
“The virus is still wide-spread throughout our communities. The role of OCH is to screen, test and provide medical treatment as needed. Workplace disclosure would fall under contact investigation with the public health department,” according to the update from OCH.
If you need care over the weekend, OCH can help you. Visit Quick Care in-person or schedule a virtual visit by calling 270-504-1300. The ER is physician-staffed 24/7. Car-side registration is available at both locations to avoid waiting areas.
OCH advises people to continue to practice social distancing by avoiding crowds, wear a cloth face mask in public and wash your hands.
