OCH reports increase in COVID-19 testing

HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County Healthcare has provided an update on its Facebook page this early afternoon. OCH confirms what Green River District Health Department reported this morning, there is one additional lab confirmed COVID-19 result bringing the county total to seven.

According to OCH, it has experienced an increase in COVID-19 screening and testing over the past 24 hours. Currently, OCH has tested 35 people with seven results still pending.

OCH asks Ohio County to continue your safe at home practices leaving only for work, to get groceries or to seek medical care. If you’re in public, wear a cloth face mask or face shield. Wash hands frequently and if leaving home, keep hand sanitizer with you to use while outside the home and immediately wash hands when returning home.
