HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County Healthcare just minutes ago updated its Facebook page stating as of today, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Ohio County.
OCH tested one additional person bringing the total to 10, but have not received back any positive results. While there are no confirmed cases in Ohio County, OCH fully anticipates and is prepared for positive cases in the near future. None of the medical measures now in place to treat coronavirus will change.
OCH asks Ohio County to continue to practice social distancing, wash your hands and clean frequently touched surfaces.
The new OCH COVID-19 Screening Center opened and provided medical navigation to eight people. If you are experiencing symptoms of cough, fever and shortness of breath, please either call the 24/7 Hotline at 270-256-5355 or visit the drive-up screening center at the corner of Clay Street and McMurtry Avenue in Hartford, just down from Ohio County Hospital.
The OCH COVID-19 Screening Center is staffed by trained healthcare professionals who will perform a verbal & visual assessment of patients while in their vehicle. If additional screening required, patients will be directed to appropriate facility.
All provider practices are open and ready to care for patients either with an office or virtual visit. For either, call your provider’s office during routine business hours to schedule an appointment. Curb-side registration is still in place to protect both the sick and well patients.
