CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — The Muhlenberg County Health Department has confirmed two positive cases of COVID-19 for Muhlenberg County. The announcement was posted on the Muhlenberg County Health Department Facebook page last night.
“We are currently investigating the cases, and will notify any contacts. Please remain calm. We are working diligently through this process. We will have more information forthcoming,” according to the Health Department.
At this time, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio County.
To help slow down the rate of infection and flatten the curve, Governor Andy Beshear has ordered all nonessential retail stores to close today by 8 p.m. and remained closed during this time. Gov. Beshear also ordered all elective medical procedures to be ceased.
