HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County will close all government offices to in-person services until further notice, effective 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The closings are due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Ohio County Judge-Executive David Johnston’s Office, Johnston, other elected officials and the emergency management agency are taking the actions based on the guidelines laid out by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and President Donald Trump.
According to Johnston, “We will continue the path by following CDC guidelines along with the President’s and Governor’s recommendations and mandate of actions to help minimize the spread and effect of the virus.”
