HARTFORD, Ky. — Vickie Jean Morris, 50, of Hartford, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at her residence. She was born June 12, 1969, in Hammond, Indiana, to Jackie Morris and Catherine Smith Morris.
Vickie was employed by DSSA in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and a member of Union Grove Church in Hartford. She enjoyed going to movies, bowling, and singing at church.
Vickie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Lottie Morris; maternal grandparents, Dan and Dorothy Harrison; sister, Sandy Luann Morris; sister, Sandy Luann Morris; and aunt, Judy Bittel.
Vickie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving parents, Jackie “Jack” and Catharine “Cathy” Morris, of Hartford; brother, Ron Morris, of Portage, Indiana; three nephews, Tristan, Aaron and Christopher Morris; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Don Goatee officiating. Burial will follow in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Vickie’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
