OHIO COUNTY, Ky. — The Ohio County Fire Association, along with the Red Cross, is offering free smoke alarms to anyone in Ohio County who would like one. The program is called Sound The Alarm/Save A Life.
To receive your free fire alarm, call 270-238-6182 and leave your name, address and phone number. This number is a 24/7 monitored automated phone answering service. Once you’re registered a member of the association or a representative from your local fire department will get in contact with you to schedule the installation.
This program is available for all households in Ohio County regardless of income. There is no charge for this service.
