McHENRY, Ky. — Judith “Judy” Elaine Moseley Aldridge, 74, of McHenry, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at Ohio County Healthcare Hospital. She was born March 25, 1945, to Vernie A. Moseley and the late Reubena Stone Moseley.
She was a graduate of Centertown High School in 1963. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was one of the first people hired when Thomas Industries came to Beaver Dam.
Judy loved working with crafts, especially crochet, cross stitch, paper crafts, and writing in her journal. She was a loving mother and wife and a wonderful homemaker. Judy was the pianist at Independence Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors who will always love her and cherish her include her husband of 46 years, Jerry Aldridge; daughter, Kara Aldridge; father, Vernie Moseley; brother, Carroll Moseley and his wife, Mary; niece, Charlotte Moseley; aunt, Rava Lindsey and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. John Cashion officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit with Judy’s family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
