Stephen ‘Steve’ Keith Willis

CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Stephen “Steve” Keith Willis, 64, of Centertown, passed away April 17, 2019, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, July 13, 1954, to the late Troy Willis and Shirley Morris Willis.

Steve was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He served as the constable in Ohio County for six years, and served as a member of the Beaver Dam Fire Department for 21 years. Steve enjoyed UK Basketball, going to the Smoky Mountains, looking for antiques at yard sales, NASCAR, and was an avid Jeff Gordan fan.

Along with his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sisters, Shelia Willis, Debra Howard, and Anita Willis.

Steve is survived by his children, Beth (Robbie) Farris, Toby (Nathan) Rock; his grandchildren, Drew (Pepper) Farris, Zack (Casey) Farris, Mady Rock, Marley Rock; his great-granchildren, Mason Andrew Farris, Bryleigh Grey Farris; his siblings, Terry (Mary) Willis, Mike (Maria) Willis, Sherry (Jimmy) Halcomb; his half-brothers, Matthew Willis, Josh (Christina) Willis; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 4 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Bible Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, with Robert Farris officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Monday at the church.
