BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (4/13/19) — An inmate, who escaped from the Green River Correctional Complex Wednesday night has been captured according to the Kentucky State Police.
Around 6:14 a.m. Saturday morning, KSP Post 2, in Madisonville, was notified the Warren County Sheriff’s Office had located Charles Pedigo at a residence on H E Johnson Road. A home owner called the police about a man on her front porch trying to quiet her dogs.
Pedigo was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police are searching for an escaped inmate from the Green River Correctional Complex.
According to the KSP, around 9:05 p.m. Wednesday night, Apr. 10, KSP Post 2 in Madisonville, received a call from Green River Correctional Complex stating an inmate had escaped around 8:50 p.m.
The escapee is Charles Pedigo, 44, originally of Scottsville, Kentucky. Pedigo is 5’9” tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He has a goatee and has a tattoo of the grim reaper on his left arm. On his right upper arm he has a tattoo of a dream catcher with an eagle.
Pedigo was being lodged on assault charges and sentenced to 29 years and 1 day. He has ties to Allen, Hardin, and Simpson counties.
