Patsy Lynch Burgraff Hagerman

Gulfport, Miss. — Patsy Lynch “Pat” Burgraff Hagerman, 80, of Owensboro, Kentucky, left this earth April 6, 2019, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pat was born on March 24, 1939, in Elkton, Kentucky, the first of seven children to Lee and Ellen Standard Lynch.

She graduated from Todd County High School, in Elkton, in 1957 and maintained a relationship with her classmates until her death. She graduated nursing school at Murray State College in association with Owensboro Daviess County Hospital in 1960.

Pat worked as a registered nurse for 24 years, at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Green River District Home Health Agency, and taught at Owensboro School for practical nurses.

Pat enjoyed her prayer group, dining out with friends, visiting with siblings, and watching U.K. basketball games. Her grandchildren brought her great joy. Her favorite Bible passage was “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength”. She was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church in Owensboro.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hagerman. She often commented to family and friends that Bob was her greatest blessing and the best patient she ever had. She was also preceded by her parents; brother, Joe Lee Lynch (Emily); and sisters, Cindy Perdue (William) and Lisa Ellen Lynch

Surviving Pat are her children, Steven Burgraff (Evelista), of Columbia, South America, Candice Fulkerson (Danny), of Owensboro, Leigh Hagerman Ashley (Mark), of Pass Christian, Mississippi. Also Surviving are siblings, John Lynch (Lorea), Michael Lynch (Kenneth Jay-Lynch), Lindy Hesson (William); seven grandchildren, Seth, Tess, Sarah, Katelyn, Amy, Will, and Elizabeth; nieces, Susie, Helen, Rachel, Brooke; and nephew, Dustin. Pat also leaves her dear friends, Joyce Mann, Jane Lawson, and Betty Sturgeon.

A graveside service is planned for Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
